I live in DC but I am from Athens GA. Because McRae Family Dental is the BEST, I drive 9 hours from DC to Athens just to be seen at McRae Family Dental. Dr. McRae is the best dentist I have ever had. Shenna, Siliva, and Shelia truly put the "Family" in McRae Family Dental. They are always so kind and extremely helpful. Siliva always greats me with a huge smile and gets me checked in promptly. Sheena was absolutely wonderful .My hubby is a veteran and Sheena has made it so easy and informative to get all his dental cares done in one appointment she handled all the interface authorization paperwork with the veterans administration we couldn’t ask for more. Over the past many years, Dr. McRae and his staff have taken excellent care of me! As a child of the 60s, I had a long-standing fear of dentists. I finally found a place that eased those fears and gave me wonderful care! My late husband had Alzheimer’s for the last many years of his life. He loved coming to the dentist because they made him feel so loved and special. Hats off to Dr. McRae and staff! I have seen the both of them for many many years and both are exceptional! Their dental hygienists are speedy, yet thorough! I enjoy an environment where all the staff from the front desk to the back office is great! I have sent several family and friends to Dr. McRae because not only does he take his practice serious, he is practical in pricing and understanding the need of the patient. He will not have you spending unnecessary money, but will give you quality work to last a lifetime! Sheena at the front desk knows EVERY patient by name as they walk in and that is important to me! She got me in quick and was knowledgeable of the VA. Cleo, the hygiene assistant was really really good. We’re taking my x-rays.
